"The Christmas Wyfe" Short Film
Description: When he loses hope with online dating, a lonely man-child prays to Santa for companionship during his favorite holiday.
The Christmas Wyfe is a short film I produced along with a few close friends. While the initial idea came from friend Charlotte Benedetto, I wrote, directed and shot the film myself (using a single Nikon D750 DSLR camera in conjunction with the Blackmagic Video Assist, and Zoom H6 audio recorder), arranged all the costumes & lighting, composed & performed the score (with the exception of the closing credits song, written & performed by Ismael Carillo), and did all the post-production, including all motion graphics, special effects, editing, color correction, and audio post-production.
It was shown at the Miami Independent Film Festival's Mindie Monthly Edition, March 2019
